Often when forklift batteries are purchased new, they are already in an unequal state. This tends to go unnoticed for the first 2 to 3 years of operation, and symptomatic problems arise at this point. Often it is very difficult to reverse the damage caused from poor quality control having been left undetected for so long. This is why we recommend that early checks are carried out within 3 months of new battery installation, and remedial action taken.
